Terms of Service

Effective October 4, 2026

These Terms govern your use of YourTicketHub (the "Platform") at https://yourtickethub.ca, operated by Amrutha Solutions Ltd ("we", "us"). By buying a ticket, creating an account or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. What we do

YourTicketHub is an online ticketing platform. Independent event organizers ("Organizers") use it to list events and sell tickets to buyers ("you"). Unless an event page states otherwise, the Organizer — not YourTicketHub — is the seller of the tickets and is responsible for the event, including its content, date, venue, safety, accessibility and any changes or cancellation. We provide the technology to sell, deliver and scan tickets.

2. Buying tickets

  • All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). The total shown at checkout includes the ticket price plus any service charge and fees, which are itemized before you pay.
  • Payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Stripe or Square). We do not see or store your full card number.
  • While you are on the payment page your tickets are reserved for a limited time (about 30 minutes). If payment is not completed in time the reservation is released.
  • In the rare case that tickets sell out before your payment completes, your payment is refunded in full automatically and no ticket is issued.
  • Your purchase is complete when you receive the confirmation email with your ticket(s). Please check the details and contact us promptly if anything is wrong.

3. Your tickets

  • Tickets are delivered by email as a PDF with a unique QR code. Keep it private — anyone holding the QR code may be admitted.
  • Each QR code admits entry once (or for the number of people stated on a group ticket). After the first scan, copies are not valid.
  • Tickets may not be resold for more than face value, used for commercial purposes, or copied. Organizers may refuse entry to tickets obtained in breach of these Terms.
  • Entry is subject to the Organizer's and venue's rules (for example age limits, ID checks, security screening and conduct). Being refused entry for breaking those rules does not entitle you to a refund.

4. Refunds, changes and cancellations

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In short: if an event is cancelled, the ticket price is refunded; service, processing and platform fees are non-refundable. If an event is postponed or changed, the Organizer decides whether tickets remain valid or are refunded.

5. Organizers

If you create an organizer account, you also agree that:

  • You are authorized to sell tickets for the events you list, and the information you provide (event details, pricing, your business details) is accurate.
  • Your account may require our approval before you can sell, and we may suspend or remove events or accounts that breach these Terms or the law.
  • You are responsible for delivering the event, honouring valid tickets, handling customer enquiries about the event, refunds you offer, and any applicable taxes, licences and permits.
  • Our platform fee is added to the buyer's total and is shown to you before you sell. Depending on how you are set up, ticket money is paid to your own connected payment account (and our fee is deducted automatically), or collected by us and paid out to you after the event, less fees and refunds.
  • You are responsible for chargebacks and disputes on payments made to your own connected payment account, and for refunds required when you cancel an event.
  • You must not list illegal, fraudulent, misleading or offensive events, or use the Platform to collect personal information for purposes other than running your event.
  • You must keep buyer information you receive confidential and use it only to deliver your event, in line with applicable privacy law.

6. Accounts and security

Keep your login details secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. Staff accounts created by an Organizer (for example ticket scanners) are the Organizer's responsibility.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Platform — for example by attempting to access other accounts or data, interfering with its operation, scraping it, or using automated means to buy tickets in bulk.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, its software and the YourTicketHub name belong to us. Event names, images and descriptions belong to the Organizers, who grant us permission to display them to promote and sell their events.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of Organizers or venues, for the content or quality of events, or for indirect or consequential losses. Where we are liable, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees we received for the tickets concerned. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
